Acceptable for price but not a premium luxury experience

Service levels reduced again but at the minute still acceptable for the price. My Holiday app disappointing, not sure what value it adds as reservation function very clunky. Headliner shows poor& haven’t changed at all in the last 6 months.

Lovely ship but disappointing and boring cruise

The ship is lovely and the cabin steward looked after us well. We had 2 extra days in Southampton due to the weather which affected new year enjoyment. We then missed ports as planned. But never horrible Gibraltar! Why? Some staff in the restaurants looked really fed up and this really affected us. Other staff were wonderful, but we couldn’t help thinking that staff were being put upon. We queued for dinner every night but some people boasted that they knew staff and could just walk into the restaurants when they wanted, which doesn’t seem fair. The entertainment was disappointing and the ship very busy. Given the presence of Covid, no one ensured people used hand gel in the horizon buffet.

A decent cruise, but not as good as previous ones

Most notably the food was significantly poorer than our previous cruises in Norway and the Caribbean.

Just an all round fantastic cruise

Would recommend,it was all perfect

Wonderful break for winter sun

Very well organised for ship to airport transfers. Good entertainment and wonderful food. Cabin with balcony ideal. I would recommend ideal as a first cruise.

Azure Cruise No 3!

P&O are our favourite cruise line. Love Azura: lovely staff, great destinations, food excellent. Recommended!!BUT! Be aware of how P&O use you credit card: they pre-authorise your spend, then charge you at the end but it can take up to 30 days for the pre authorised amount to be removed. Can drop you in a mess if you rely on credit cards

Entertainment was pore and repetitive although food was OK there were notifiable cutbacks and some things like bottles of watet being stopped in cabins.I feel the cruising experience is tiring and as the ships most of the time are about moving its like watching paint dry.It takes well to long to get anywhere.I also noticed how dirty the carpets were in the horizon restraunt.Reception staff not answering calls and also not interested in making situations right.Although I did 28nts on my last cruise I wouldn't do it again. Also drinks are way to expensive a bottles of Thatchers gold £5.50 onboard £2.00 in b&m 500ml one can of Guinness onboard £5.25 approximately in Tescos 4 cans below £5 It's not justified and also people are not drinking or simply bringing there own wine Soft drinks if were more affordable you could sell more

Poor service and quality from P&O

Have cruised several times with P&O and can honestly say this was the worst cruise have taken with P&O.. Were due o leave on the Saturday 29th but after getting on board it was announced that the ship was not sailing until at least Monday. Many people said that they had been texted on the Thursday to say that it would be delayed, I was not. We were told that we could go ashore in Southampton but needed to be back on board by 6pm (why). The ship sailed at 6am Monday a two day delay to what should have been a lovely New Years cruise,. On the Wednesday evening I came down with food poisoning stomach bug. I contacted the medical centre who said to isolate in cabin and take Imodium. I was isolated for two days and was told on the second day had I filled in a health questionnaire, I said not seen one. One appeared several hours later and I filled in the form asking me what I had eaten for past four days. I had only eaten on the ship since boarding on the Saturday not having gone ashore in. So if I had eaten anything it could only come from the ship. The rest of the cruise was uneventful having missed Valencia which was one of the places I had wanted to see. I have not ben contacted since my bout of food poisoning to ascertain the outbreak source, something I would expect seeing as I am a qualified CIEH food hygiene consultant. On the plus side our cabin steward was exceptional, he was the best That I have ever come across so well done Dewi
